1936 Crosley Model 855-N
"Merrimac" Console

The 855-N is an eight tube, three band, AC powered superheterodyne. The cabinet front panel and top are of pin stripe walnut neneer, the pilasters are fluted, and the overlays on the speaker grill are reeded. The end panels are walnut veneer. This set sold for $89.95 in 1936.

This same cabinet was used in the 715-N "Corsair" console, which sold for $79.95.
