The model 517 chassis is a five tube, two band, A.C. powered superheterodyne. This chassis was placed in several different cabinets, and most of them were given the name "Fiver.' The top radio is the early version of the 517 tombstone, and it is a 1937 model. The radio on the bottom is the late version of the 517 tombstone, and it is a 1938 model. |
